Remote | March 2020 – present
I worked online on a variety of projects with clients from across the world (Portugal, Germany, England, USA, South Africa and the Netherlands).
- Turned hand sketches into 3D Models, and prepared them for manufacturing using CNC Machine.
- Generated toolpaths on Fusion 360 for a metal detail and prepared illustrated manufacturing report for the machine operator.
- Proposed efficient manufacturing techniques for furniture design, and offered optimised details for better fitting and looking outcome.
- Designed parametric information models for exhibition in the USA.
- Rationalised Ceramic Assemblies Thesis Project
Bartlett School of Architecture, London, UK | 2019
The focus of this project is on the combination of two different manufacturing techniques: clay casting and the bending and deformation of sheet wood. The blending of ceramic tiles and bentwood elements creates new formal opportunities for free-form, ceramic-clad surfaces. These require rationalisation of complex surface geometry and negotiation between manufacturing affordances and design intent. The patterning and tessellation of the tiles, as well as their glazing and finishing, create dynamic and gradated spatial effects. The prototype demonstrates these effects and the formal complexity of this technique.
- Accomplished a rationalisation of a teardrop-shaped ceramic tile with acoustical functions by using Fusion 360.
- Designed and fabricated a double-curved surface with a ceramic-clad system and analysed the constraints using Grasshopper.
- Optimised the firing schedule by reducing it with ten hours and resulted in projecting a unique pattern on to the ceramic tiles.
- Tested acoustic experiments in a real-time environment to estimate the material potential.
- Simulated sound reflection rays on the surface in a digital environment using Packyderm Acoustic plug-in for Grasshopper.
- Interviewer and Media Support Volunteer
EUGIC Conference, Here East, London, UK | April 2019
European Urban Green Infrastructure Conference (EUGIC) celebrates working with nature for climate-adapted, resilient, healthy cities in London. It is co-hosted by The Bartlett and Loughborough University at their neighbouring campuses at UCL at Here East in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
- Recording key speakers’ comments and visions throughout the conference, both in photography and video interviews, putting the European speakers at their ease and posing questions that will feed into a wider content report.
- Leading an Interview in the Bulgarian language.
Certificate available upon request.
- Interior Design Intern
INTERIORO Design Studio, Sofia, Bulgaria | June 2016 – September 2016
- Implemented new technical skills by learning how to draw 2D and 3D technical drawings in AutoCAD on a professional level.
- Collaborated with production companies to meet deadlines on time and discuss design supplies.
- Tailored and presented design proposals in the form of technical packages, visualisation renders in front of San Stefano Plaza team and single clients.
